Wonderful west coast!

The Swedish west coast is just the place to be in summer time. For me there is nothing that is comparable to this. The soft cliffs and salt water is pumping through my veins. A view like this makes my life a little bit more complete...


I stayed a few days at my friend Philip's summer cottage at the beautiful island St Kornö, just outside Lysekil.

Traditional fishing storage houses - here they are still used for this even though no one is permanent living on the island.

Philips was a little tired... Then it's great with vacation!

We were out fishing. Both with fishing rod and just line (meta och dörja). The first day we only got one not eatable fish, but it was beautiful! The second day we got 25 mackerels that we smoked and grilled in the evening - delicious!

Erik Otto, my other friend on the island had just bought a wind surfing board that we tried. There were almost no wind, but we had to try... It was hard...This year it was a lot of "mareld". That is plankton that is fluorescent when you touch them, really cool!
One of the evenings we went to Bohus Malmön to plat mini golf and have a pizza. The golf court was nice, but I lost -congratulations Carl! He almost got the best of the day score.

The last evening we had a barbeque and it was totally calm and the sunset was - yeah, you can see for your self.
