Beijing is making an effort to take away all the strange and reasons to misinterpretations signs in the city before the Olympic Games. A little sad I think. This is one of many tourist attractions they have. I have seen many funny signs. Here is one of many examples. I hope you can see the difference...

I have heard that they are education the taxi drivers in English as well, but I haven't noticed any improvement. But I have had many nice and interesting discussions in Chinese-English but mostly body language with them.
