Car trip to temples and hot springs

Saturday Yoko took a whole bunch of Konstfack related people for a great trip to Nikko, four hours north of Tokyo. We were except me and Yoko, Asako a former student at Konstfack Interior design Master and two exchange students from Konstfack, David and Roger. We had a great time! Fun to ride a car in Japan and see some more than just city life.

A half crazy lady wanted to take a picture of us in front of the teahouse in the museum garden. This place is said to be super beautiful in autumn when the trees are getting red and orange.

We just had to take a jump photo at the gate to the temples. Roger was a bit late (not so strange, he and David had slept for the whole night because they had to get up so early, around six in the morning to meet us). We were caught in some Japanese photos as well...

David wearing a hat at the hot spring, we wondered why they had it there. Maybe to be used if rain? The hot pools were super! First a thoroughly shower and then just slide down 42 degrees! Relaxing, I felt like a new person afterwards.
