A stuffed Saturday

Of course Mathias had to go the Great Wall. Unfortunately we had a thick fog so we only could see ca 100 m. But it was nice to get out of town and see some "real" nature.

At the entrance to the cable car to get up to the Great Wall this guy was sitting. Super happy and screaming thing to attract people to take the cable car. He had this great pipe! Just had to take a photo.

Directly from the wall we went to the Lhama Temple. Had some more culture, breathing some incenses... (People are praying and offering them to Buddha.)

From there we went to a special wrist watch store, only having nice copies of famous clock brands. So now I also have a Montblanc watch... At the Pearl Market I asked, against all former experience, if they had Chucks in my size, and they had! Nice...After these efforts of decisions and bargains we had to sit down and have a coffee and a beer in HouHai. Relaxing...

They have a lot of terraces in Hou Hai, usually with a nice view over the man made lake were people drive around in small rented boats. At the place we sat they haven't understood that the view is important. Next to us we had this collection of left over furniture and air conditions...

For dinner we met up with the rest and went to a Tibetan restaurant and had some yak meat. It was almost black tasted like and old fur. The rest of the meat was not tender or tasty. But the kofta was great! This place is sort of like Wallman’s salonger or Oakley's at Tredje Långgatan. They started singing and dancing. Ma-ma-hou-hou (so-so) I must say. But I think Mathias got a great day, covering the most of Beijing. The night ended at the terraces of Q Bar and Bar Blu.
