Art in America

Lenny and Jenny brought me to the National Art Museum of China to look at Art in America - 300 years of innovation. It was a nice exhibition presenting pieces of art from the short american history. Together with the artworks you could read about the american history to connect the art to the situation and time.

In the rooms with 18th and 19th century art there were a lot of kids painting outlines illustrations of the artworks. Later in the exhibition with modern and contemporary art pieces there were no kids. I wonder if the didn't have any outlined illustrations for them or if the teachers didn't like them.
