Riding bus in Beijing

First of all it's pretty hard to go by bus in Beijing if you can't speak or read Chinese. You have to remember the number and then see if you see them pass at a destination - to later take the bus. I don't do that... That's why it was a new experience for me with the manual stop information. At some lines they have a automatic voice telling the name of the stop. But at this line they had a girl telling the stop and probably some other info as well. She is also the one selling tickets to them who hasn't the pre-paid card (everybody else than us seemed to have that).

Ones again - having some one doing the job is too cheap in China... There are so many boring jobs here. Riding the same bus line every day is probably much better then standing outside an office or domestic building most of the day. And this is probably much better then the factories... Kim read an interview with a girl working as an elevator controller. Shortly - she is pushing the elevator button for you. She said the best thing about her job is that she travels a lot - imagine if the distance I move everyday, it's like going all over China. (Riding the bus takes you even further so she should be rally happy!) In this interview the girl said that the worst thing about the job is when some one farts in the elevator... There are actually people doing that while she's in there? T.I.C.
