The Roots in Beijing

There are not many great artists coming to Beijing. Most of them are rather uninteresting DJ's playing bad music... But sometimes there's a light in the darkness. The Roots - the best live hip-hop act in the world! I haven't been to a better hip-hop concert since Run DMC in Gothenburg -91 (hmm, maybe this was the same level as Pharcyde or De La Soul on Lollipop -96). Doesn’t matter, they were great, especially the solos and playful medleys in between their songs.
