Chinese New Year dinner

My colleagues Lenny and Jenny invited Konow and me to their New Year dinner. It was great; we made the traditional dumplings (every family has their own recipe for the filling). We had a huge dinner and then we watched the traditional New Year show at CCTV1. When you looked out the window you could see all the other families were watching the same show. Lenny said there are 600 millions people watching it!

During New Year the Chinese shoot fire crackers and fire works almost all the time. I have never seen so much fire works at the same time as during midnight on New Year eve. It sounded like a battle field. Lenny said it's only allowed to shoot from 19-24 except New Years Eve. Yeah, right, people don't care.In front of the entrance to my apartment area they had swept away the fire cracker remains and collected all the fire work stands and you can see the amount! Then imagine that this is only for one of the entrances of one apartment area!
